On Tuesday I was pleased to participate in the Scottish Government Debate on city deals and regional economic partnerships.
I am pleased that the SNP Government and the Ayrshire councils have agreed to sign the heads of terms agreement on the long awaited Ayrshire Growth Deal on 25 January so that Ayrshire may finally benefit from the millions of pounds of long-promised investment. I hope that the UK Government will confirm its intention to sign the deal on Burns Day too.
