Largs Thistle Football Club arrived at last Sunday’s Cup Final in Hamilton hoping to emulate their 1994 success. Going in as underdogs against a strong Auchinleck Talbot side, it was always going to be difficult. Despite playing with passion, commitment and having much of the possession, Thistle lost 2-0.
Attached, one can see Thistle player Marky Millar, who donated his cup final top to keen Thistle fan James, who has Asperger Syndrome and Cerebellar Ataxia.
James enjoyed the match, watching from the North Stand, where Kenneth Gibson MSP, Patricia Gibson MP and local SNP Councillor Alan Hill were among the 1,950 fans Thistle had supporting them at the final.
