This is Dementia Awareness Week 2024, 27 May to 02 June.
The theme is Your Voice, Your Choice, Your Future.
Each person living with dementia has their own needs, preferences and aspirations.
Alzheimer Scotland advocates for a care approach, to enable people with dementia to live as well as they can for as long as they can.
Good care provides people with the power and control to make choices that reflects who they are and what matters to them.
Good care looks different for everyone and the best care is tailored to the individual - your voice, your choice, your future.
