Not a single Labour MP from Scotland voted against UK Labour government proposals to cut the Winter Fuel Payment (WFP).
Instead, they put party before pensioners, despite the calls from the SNP and third-sector organisations to u-turn on the decision.
Now, 892,527 pensioners across Scotland will miss out on the payment of £200 - rising to £300 for more vulnerable pensioners aged 80 or older - this winter.
Pensioners across Scotland are now paying the price for Labour’s dishonesty in not including this measure in their manifesto.
Every single SNP MP rightly voted against this Labour austerity and will continue to oppose further cuts while using our very limited powers to support those who need it most.
