On Sunday night, Patricia Gibson MP, Cllr Margaret Johnson and I attended a packed Beith Community Centre for the summer performance of Cunninghame Choir
Conducted by Musical Director, pianist and composer Maciej Granat, the choir excelled itself with a diverse range of 25 songs dedicated to flowers.
These ranged from ‘Fields of Gold’ to ‘My Love is Like a Red, Red Rose’ to ‘Daisy Bell’ and the operatic and beautifully sung ‘Flower Duet.’
Not only did the choir sing with joy and gusto, the soloists were exceptional.
Having attended performances of Cunninghame Choir for almost 20 years, this was the most magnificent yet.
I’m already looking forward in anticipation to the winter show on 01 December.
