I met with David and Ken at Brodoclea Woodland, in Dalry, to learn about their reforestation project.
The 430 acre woodland houses 138 Mangalitsa pigs , removing thick strands of Bracken and providing new places for tree seedling to grow by grazing and rooting.
Profits from the sale of environmentally sustainable meat is put towards ongoing regeneration and woodland maintenance.
We discussed their future plans for the woodland and how we can adapt policy to encourage more tree planting across Scotland.
