England's Soaring Water Bills Show Benefits of Keeping Water in Public Hands

Independence is the only way to guarantee key services are safe in public hands, as privatised water companies in England and Wales - where bills are already higher than in Scotland - plan to increase bills by £156 a year.

“Families in England and Wales are paying over the odds for poorer private water services under Westminster control" and challenged Rishi Sunak and Keir Starmer to "stop privatising key services and instead follow Scotland's lead by putting water back in public hands."
