First Minister, Humza Yousaf visited Largs on Wednesday afternoon with Patricia Gibson MP and I.
Humza enjoyed an ice cream at the iconic Nardini's before walking to the local SNP Office on Gallowgate Lane. He highlighted the important work carried out by activists in Largs and across Scotland in the fight for Scottish Independence.
Humza then sailed over to Arran to visit Home Farm in Brodick where he spoke to various business owners including the tearoom, Arran: Sense of Scotland and Arran Cheese Shop.
He subsequently met with Arran Development Trust to talk about addressing island demand, recognising and supporting the additional 30% Build Cost and Empowerment for Island Communities.
Later, the First Minister took cognisance of the views of the Isle of Arran Ferry Committee where he pledged to work to deliver a reliable and resilient ferry service and that Ardrossan Harbour works will be redeveloped.
