It's Time to Order New Small Ferries

At Portfolio Questions on Wednesday and yesterday I raised concerns over the Small Vessel Replacement Programme.

Islands like Cumbrae in my constituency need new vessels sooner rather than later.

A direct award to Ferguson Marine would get these vital vessels built while supporting Scottish jobs.

Island communities have waited years for this. The yard is already extremely nervous about its future. We need a decision soon.
