Kenneth Gibson MSP has been appointed Convener of the Scottish Parliament’s Finance and Public Administration (FPA) Committee.
The remit of the FPA Committee includes scrutiny of:
• Public spending • Income tax and other devolved taxes • Scottish Government borrowing • Annual Scottish Budget • Medium Term Financial Strategy • The Fiscal Framework • Public Sector Reform • National Performance Framework • Public Administration
Membership is:
Kenneth Gibson, John Mason and Michelle Thomson (all SNP) Daniel Johnson (Labour and Deputy Convener) Andrew Lumsden and Liz Smith (both Tory) Patrick Harvie (Green)
Kenneth said:
