Yesterday in the Chamber I raised the issue of the increase in Private Finance Initiative and Public Private Partnership payments bequeathed by Labour and the Lib Dems that Scotland's taxpayers continue to be burdened with.
In his response, John Swinney said that the total estimated payment costs of private finance initiative and public-private partnership contracts is £1.46 billion in 2023-24, and £1.41 billion in the year before that.
