Kenneth met with Young Scot volunteers who were visiting Holyrood to promote the 2022 Sunday Mail Young Scot Awards.
Since its launch in 2006, the awards have been Scotland’s only national awards evening for Scotland’s young people.
They have celebrated the inspirational contributions and achievements of thousands of young Scots who have made a real difference to communities across Scotland.
Kenneth said:
“Over the years we’ve heard the stories from the most incredible young people. Former nominees have risen to the top of the sporting, business, entertainment and the art worlds. Hundreds more are making a lasting difference all over Scotland.
“This year, the Young Scot team is again looking forward to hearing about the fantastic 11 to 26-year-old young volunteers, sports stars, innovators and community heroes.
“The awards will be presented on 27 April and I wish all 42 nominees the very best.”
